Membership Conditions

  • Eligibility: Membership is limited to Youth who have an interest in youth-related activities.
  • Application Process: Prospective members must complete an application form with important personal information and declare their desire to join the organization. In addition, he must assess his level of leadership to help us in developing a suitable curriculum for him.
  • Membership fees: Joining the organization entails payment of membership dues, set at ($30 / year) for regular members and ($10 / year) for student members. These fees play a vital role in sustaining the organization's activities and initiatives.
  • Code of Conduct: Members are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that reflects Islamic principles and values, promoting respect, inclusivity, and ethical behavior.
  • Rights and Responsibilities: Members have certain rights, such as voting in elections or participating in decision-making processes. They also have responsibilities, such as actively engaging in organization activities and upholding its mission.
  • Duration: Membership terms may be annual, renewable on a yearly basis, or for a specific period, such as the duration of a particular program or project.
  • Termination: Membership can be terminated if a member violates the organization's code of conduct or fails to meet their responsibilities as outlined in the membership agreement.
  • Benefits: Members may receive various benefits, such as access to exclusive events, workshops, educational resources, networking opportunities, and leadership development programs.

Membership Renewal

Renewal of the membership of MYLO is subject to certain conditions and requirements to ensure the continued growth and development of its members. These conditions could include:

1. Attendance of Training Programs: Based on their leadership level, members are required to participate in tailored training programs and workshops aimed at fostering skill development, expanding knowledge, and nurturing personal growth.

2. Participation in Lectures and Workshops: Members need to actively participate in lectures, seminars, or workshops organized by MYLO. These sessions could focus on areas such as personal development, community engagement, social issues, or professional development.

3. Completion of Volunteer Hours: Engaging in volunteer activities is often a core component of MYLO. Members require to complete a certain number of volunteer hours within a specified time frame. This allows them to contribute to the community, develop empathy, and gain practical experience.

4. Active Involvement in Organizational Activities: Members may need to actively participate in various organizational activities, such as meetings, events, projects, or campaigns. This demonstrates their commitment, dedication, and willingness to contribute to the organization's goals and objectives.

5. Adherence to Organizational Policies and Values: Renewal of membership is contingent upon members adhering to the organization's policies, code of conduct, and values. This ensures that members uphold the principles and ethics of the organization and contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.

6. Evaluation and Assessment: The renewal process includes an evaluation or assessment of the member's performance, growth, and contributions during their previous membership period. This evaluation can help identify areas of improvement and provide constructive feedback to the members.

Code of Conduct

1. Adherence to Islamic Values: Members should commit to upholding and promoting Islamic principles, ethics, and morals in their actions and interactions within the organization.

2. Respect and Inclusivity: Members are expected to treat each other with respect, regardless of differences in backgrounds, perspectives, or opinions. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behavior should not be tolerated.

3. Personal Integrity: Members should maintain personal integrity and honesty in all aspects of their involvement with the organization, including being truthful, reliable, and accountable for their actions.

4. Responsible Behavior: Members should conduct themselves responsibly, ensuring that their behavior does not harm the reputation of the organization or its members. This includes refraining from engaging in illegal activities, substance abuse, or any actions that contradict Islamic teachings.

5. Positive Communication: Members should strive to communicate in a positive and constructive manner, promoting open dialogue, active listening, and empathy. Resolving conflicts peacefully and seeking understanding should be encouraged.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy: Members should respect the confidentiality and privacy of others, refraining from sharing sensitive information without consent. This includes respecting the privacy of personal conversations, data, and any confidential information shared within the organization.

7. Professionalism: Members should exhibit professionalism in their conduct, whether interacting with other members, volunteers, staff, or external stakeholders. This includes punctuality, appropriate attire, and maintaining a respectful demeanor.

8. Community Engagement: Members should actively participate in community engagement activities and initiatives organized by the organization. This may include volunteering, community service, or advocacy efforts aligned with the organization's mission.

9. Compliance with Organizational Policies: Members should familiarize themselves with and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as outlined by the organization's governing documents and guidelines.

10. Consequences for Violations: That may include warnings, temporary suspension, or termination of membership, depending on the severity and frequency of the infraction.

Potential consequences for violations:

1. Verbal Warning: For minor violations or first-time offenses, a verbal warning may be issued to the member, highlighting the nature of the violation, and providing an opportunity for correction.

2. Written Warning: In cases where the violation persists or the offense is more serious, a written warning may be issued to the member. This written communication would clearly state the violation, potential consequences of further violations, and any required corrective actions.

3. Probation: If the violation is significant or repeated, placing the member on probation for a specified period may be deemed appropriate. During this time, the member's involvement and privileges within the organization may be restricted, and they may need to demonstrate improved behavior and compliance with the organization's rules.

4. Temporary Suspension: In more severe cases, a temporary suspension of the member's membership and participation in organizational activities may be necessary. The duration of the suspension would depend on the nature and severity of the violation, as well as any mitigating factors.

5. Termination of Membership: If the violation is severe, persistent, or fundamentally incompatible with the organization's values and objectives, the termination of the member's membership may be considered. This would result in the member being permanently removed from the organization and the loss of all associated privileges and benefits.
